Well, I guess I’ll start with a slight introduction here. I’m Tirzah, author of horror, fantasy, and thriller stories as well as some nonfiction projects.

My last nonfiction project was My Morning Musings. I credit writing those books with creating some massive change in my life. In fact, I feel like they saved my life.

Well, I’m back with a similar yet different series. This series will be the same in that I’m just going to stream of consciousness write it with very minimal censoring. I really only try to censor sensitive information that other people might not appreciate being shared about them. Personally, I’m a pretty open book.

This will be different because I’m going to be studying books and other resources that I think will be helpful for creating here. I’ll tell you where I’m at in the book and my thoughts about what I’m reading. I invite you to come along with me on this journey and see what we can create.

For too long (almost 40 years), I was a victim in my life. I allowed some people who held trusted positions/ relationships with me to treat me cruelly. I didn’t see that I had a choice.

Moving on from those people was the best thing that ever happened to me. Now I’m free to create the life I’ve been dreaming about for so long. It’s time to make that dream a reality.

The catalyst for most of the change in my life was first awareness. I had to be willing to see that there was a problem. I will always be grateful to my friend Amber for being brave enough to speak up and point out something toxic I was allowing in my life.

Where the real magic happens is when we discover this magical thing called choice. When we acknowledge that we have choice, and we start making choices for what we want our lives to be like, then everything can start to change.

I’ve been spending a few years now getting the yuck out of my life. Cleaning is a constant process. It might always be for this reality. When we’re willing to clean and clear the yuck, we make room for creating.

For a long time, I felt I was attached to an energy that wouldn’t permit me to create at my full potential. I was doing a lot of the work but wasn’t able to get anywhere.

My life is totally different now. My energy is now my own. The only thing holding me back is what I’m willing or not willing to do.

I’m willing to do what it takes to create the life that I’ve always known was meant to be mine. I’m putting in the work and using the tools.

I’m inviting you to come along and create with me. I’ll let you know what I’m doing and update you every step of the way.

I’m also inviting you to create with me. I’m holding space for you in these pages. I hope you feel the energy and possibilities in your life shift and expand as you read. I hope you begin to dream bigger and take action on your dreams. I’m cheering for you every step of the way.

I’ve used many tools on my journey. One of my favorites is journaling, the way that I am now. Allow me to share with you why I think the way I journal can be a huge catalyst for change.

I complain. I write about what isn’t working. I write about what I’m struggling with. This is a form of cleaning junk out of my life. We need to clean out the junk, the lies we and others have told us, the limiting beliefs that hold us back. We need to get it all out. But then we need to do Step 2.

Step 1 is about releasing what we don’t want in our lives. Step 2 is about asking what we can do or be to get what it is we do want. I’m always asking questions now for anything I want to change. What can I do about this? What will it take to change this?

By reading my journal, you’ll watch me model my two favorite tools: writing and asking. With these two tools, you can change your entire life. Don’t believe me? Go ahead and give them a try and prove me wrong. What do you have to lose?

I’m really excited for this project. I’ve been talking about starting it for a while now, just under a different name. I was originally going to call it “Growing” because of how much I’ve grown and changed. But that word didn’t seem big enough.

I want to CREATE. I have so much I want to create that it overwhelms me at times. How will I keep track of it all? I would rather figure that out as I go than have it hold me back. What is possible here?

As a heads up, the first book I’ll be working through is Psycho- Cybernetics by Maxwell Malta. I’ve read the first third before, but I’ll be rereading that part now with my new mission in mind as I go. What miracles will we discover along the way? What amazing things can we create? What limitations can we release? I’m looking forward to the journey.

One of the main things I’m looking to create is a better financial situation for myself. I’ve been working freelance gigs for the last year. Let me just say that it’s been unpredictable. I want to find some stability with my book sales. What is possible here?

For reference, I’m making maybe $50 a month off my books at the present. I’m marking what is so that I can see how far I’ve come.

Within the next few days, I’ll be working out a daily schedule for myself and a to-do list to help me get organized. I’ll keep adjusting it as I get closer and clearer on what I want my ideal life to look like.

For now, I’ll be practicing the energy of what my ideal life feels like. Being able to feel the emotions of having what we want before we have it is important.

If that sounds impossible or undesirable then practice living with the emotion of gratitude. Think about something in your life that you’re so grateful for and practice living in that energy. Embrace the power of gratitude.

What’s one tool you’re going to start implementing in your life today?
